It is another common misconception that dogs see the world in black and white. Again, this is incorrect because they do see things in color but not quite the same way that we do. Their vision is similar to people with red/green color blindness — a dog can see blue and green shades but not red ones. A bright orange ball on a grassy lawn will appear as a light greenish ball to a dog.
