Erica J. Mustard, Owner And Operator Of Sweet Paws Dog Walkers Since 2003
Beginning in 2003, Erica built her company upon a foundation of her love for dogs, her love for the North Shore mountains which she calls "home" and a desire to enhance her community as well as her clients' lives. "We know that you love your dog, and that it is a big decision to send your dog out with somebody other than a close family member or friend. You want someone you can trust. We also know that trust must be earned. It is extremely important that we have a strong relationship with each of our clients, both canine and human. We are always here to answer all of your questions."

Staff Standards
We have very high expectations for our dog walking staff. Our initial, intensive training period lasts over three months. Beyond the first three months, we continue providing our staff with education and on the job training for the entire duration of their employment with us. Every Sweet Paws adventure hike leader is a dog lover, first and foremost. They are also:
Carefully Screened
Professionally Trained
Fully Bonded And Insured
Pet First Aid-Certified
We are licensed in the districts of North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
Trail Etiquette
The mountain trails are there for everyone to enjoy. Our goal is to ensure that not only are we accepted by other trail-users, but also that we are a welcome sight to them. To this end, we are continually working on our leadership skills so that when your dog is out with us, they greet other trail users politely and are respectful of their beautiful surroundings.
